Changing the world one petal at a time

Welcome to The Iksha Foundation.

Be a part of our Youth Climate Action Movement. Together, lets strive to create a greener and equitable future!

The Iksha Foundation aims at bringing happiness to underprivileged children

Who We Are

Our Roots

The Iksha Foundation is a youth-led climate action movement that is dedicated to making an impact. We are lead by young people who have been dedicated to our cause for the past five years. We initially started out as a Covid-19 support group, which developed to a fully youth-run organisation aimed at providing quality education to underprivileged communities through a process of collecting paper, recycling, producing study materials, and further collecting this recycled material, thereby creating a circular green economic model. We follow a workshop-based design that further educates underprivileged students on Climate Action while providing these students with a hands-on approach to be able to take action at the grassroots level with our support. This way, we make them a part of our movement.

Audi Environmental Foundation Scholar '25

The Iksha Foundation was the youngest Audi Environmental Foundation scholar at One Young World, Munich '25. We had the opportunity to present our project at such an international platform for our circular economic model and dedication to providing quality education. Our close relationship with the Audi Environmental Foundation only supports us in strengthening our impact and leading our climate action movement.

Our Projects

Project
Cov-Action

Community Care Amid Crisis

Project Cov-Action by The Iksha Foundation embodies our commitment to providing holistic support during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cov-Action distributed essential food items to underprivileged households, while also committing to help with their financial needs. This initiative reflects our dedication to community care, addressing vital needs and well-being during challenging times

Project CTRL +S

Transforming Scrap into Education

Project CTRL + S is at the core of The Iksha Foundation, an innovative initiative dedicated to repurposing scrap paper into tools of education. Through young people's efforts, we've recycled over 30,000 kgs of scrap paper, creating notebooks and stationary materials for students in underprivilged communities. This eco-conscious effort aligns with our commitment to sustainability and quality education, fostering positive change through recycled pages.

Project
Dhanika

Sustainable Women's Health

A crucial facet of Cov-Action by The Iksha Foundation, Project Dhanika provides eco-friendly sanitary solutions to underprivileged women. These sanitary napkins are reusable, recyclable, biodegradable and designed by one of our founders. We also conducted these sessions to educate underprivileged women about the importance of sanitary hygiene, fostering awareness alongside practical support for sustainable women's health.

Our Events
