About Us

Creating Meaningful Impact

Welcome to The Iksha Foundation, a non-profit organisation, a youth-driven force for positive change. Founded in 2021 by Kalvin Richard, Nandika H, and Jigisha Hota, our journey began as a response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Evolving from a small project, we've grown into a dynamic organization committed to creating a sustainable circular economy while providing quality education to underprivileged children.

Our flagship initiative, Project CTRL + S, isn't merely about recycling paper; it's a narrative of turning waste into a valuable resource for education. We then collect the used notebooks from these underprivileged students to further recycle and provide. We've sculpted 22,000 kgs of scrap paper into educational tools, echoing our commitment to sustainability while empowering over 8,000 underprivileged students.

What sets us apart is not just what we do, but how we do it. We instil in our youth volunteers not just the importance of environmental sustainability and quality education but a broader sense of responsibility and compassion. They're not just participants; they're co-creators of change. This involvement extends beyond tasks; it's about fostering leadership skills, empathy, and a profound understanding of the impact one can make. As a youth-led organization, our focus is dual-fold: creating a sustainable circular economy and ensuring quality education reaches the farthest corners.

The Iksha Foundation isn't just a platform for projects; it's a space where young minds cultivate ideals that transcend projects—ideals of sustainability, compassion, and the belief that every action, no matter how small, can spark transformative change. Join us in shaping a future where youth isn't just the audience but the driving force for lasting impact.
